Freeport Area Church Cooperative (FACC) is run by a network of local delegate churches who are committed to providing a helping hand to those who need it most. The shelter is open 24/7, 365 days a year and offers a safe and secure environment for men, women, and families who are experiencing homelessness. In addition to shelter, the organization also provides outreach assistance to the community. This includes providing rental and utility assistance to those who are struggling to make ends meet, as well as providing furniture to those who are transitioning out of homelessness or who cannot afford to purchase furniture.

Case management is also a key component of FACC's outreach services. Case managers work with individuals to help them apply for housing, government benefits, and social services such as drug treatment and counseling. They also help individuals acquire vital documents such as birth certificates and social security cards.
