FACC offers a wide range of services to the homeless community both inside and outside of our shelter. Our mission is to help those in need, and we believe that everyone deserves access to the support and resources that they need to thrive. Please be aware that the availability of these programs varies, and we cannot guarantee service.
Listed below is a few of these services that we offer:

Our financial aid program provides emergency assistance to individuals moving into housing from homelessness, helping them to cover expenses such as rent and utilities. Applications are available in-person only at 514 S. Chicago Ave.

FACC’s FURNISH (Furniture Upcycling and Redistribution to Needy Individuals for Sustainable Housing) Program offers furniture donations to individuals and families who are transitioning out of homelessness or who are in need of basic furnishings.

We also recognize the importance of having access to vital documents, specifically homeless individuals searching for housing. That's why we offer document retrieval services to assist individuals experiencing homelessness in obtaining these necessary documents.

FACC has partnered up with UIC College of Medicine Rockford to provide free medical exams, prescriptions, diagnoses, and check-ups for anyone that walks through the door, no insurance required, 2 Tuesdays every month at our shelter location 514 S. Chicago Ave., Freeport IL.
